This morning, I noticed that the address of North Hatley’s election chair, Mr. Benoit Tremblay, leads to an office under construction. The contact information for North Hatley’s election chair lists the address as 3125 Capelton Road, North Hatley, QC J0B 2C0.

However, the municipal offices at 3125 Capelton Road, North Hatley, QC J0B 2C0 have been undergoing renovations for several months now. Furthermore, I do not believe that the renovations are scheduled to be completed before the end of the elections.

To avoid finding the office closed, I invite you to change the address of the Chief Electoral Officer to 330 Chem. de la Rivière, North Hatley, QC J0B 2C0.
This morning, I advised the President of Elections that it would be important to inform the public of this error as soon as possible. This official document is being sent to all citizens with an incorrect address.
The election campaign began 10 days ago. The public should be notified quickly. Hopefully, this will prevent citizens from going to the wrong address. The worst part is that I know some who have already gone to the wrong place.
