North Hatley has two candidates in the race for mayor: Ms. Marcella Davis-Gerrish, the incumbent mayor, and Mr. Aaron Patella, a former city councilor.

This makes the municipal elections more interesting, as we will not see a mayor elected by acclamation, as is currently the case for all councilors who have no opponents at this time. I invite you to submit your candidacy before Friday, October 3, to enter the race.

A question-and-answer session and debate between the two candidates is planned for the near future at the request of several citizens. Get your questions ready!

    1. Thank you, Mr. W. Quinn, for your comment.
I understand that people are working to organize everything, and I’ve been informed that I will be invited, so I’m waiting.
Of course, what matters most is that we have a real discussion with our mayoral candidates—this is essential.
