Three new candidates entered the race yesterday in North Hatley. The deadline for filing nominations was October 3 at 4:30 p.m.
Ms. Élizabeth Fee withdrew following a withdrawal from Mr. Claude Labry and then filed a brand new nomination at the last minute against Mr. Richard Gourde. Ms. Élizabeth Fee won her seat against Mr. Gourde in the last election.
Philippe Marchesseault and I have filed our candidacies for Position 1 and are now facing off against Mr. Michel Desrosiers, who is seeking a new term.
Ms. Astrid Dangoise, a new candidate, has filed her candidacy for Position 4 and is facing Mr. Claude Labry.
Mr. Andrew J. Pelletier won his seat by acclamation and therefore without opposition. He was already in office and will continue in his role as councilor.
Ms. Danielle Dupré won her seat by acclamation and therefore without opposition. She was already in office as councilor.

- Mr. Andrew J. Pelletier (elected unopposed)
