The Fish le Camp fishing team, in collaboration with local merchants and volunteers from the village of North Hatley and surrounding area, is organizing an ice fishing tournament in North Hatley on Lake Massawippi. With the aim of revitalizing the region during the winter season with an activity accessible to all, the Fish le Camp team invites everyone to come ice fishing on Saturday, February 28, 2026. Some equipment will be available for rental at low cost, and volunteers will make holes in the ice and give fishing tips to all.
Of course, Mother Nature has to give us ice thick enough to be safe. The event will be accompanied by fishing discovery activities for young and old alike.
Registration will be by group or family. Each group will have its own team name, and the biggest fish allowed to be caught during the winter will be awarded a prize and its name on the trophy. Full details will be available autonomously.
